Our work is devoted to two key areas including theranostics and polymer-based sensing technologies. Our work on theranostics involves the synthesis and functionalisation of nanoparticle architectures for achieving desirable bio-nano interactions in vivo, ultimately towards better drug-delivery vehicles. Our work on polymer-based sensing involves high-precision synthesis of polymers with integrated fluorophores that couple to spatially resolve conformation. These materials can spatially resolve physicochemical phenomena (pH, force, …) in high spatial resolution.
