Oral presentations

Planned time slots:

for plenary lecture is 45 minutes, including 5-10 minutes for questions & answers

for invited lecture is typically 25 minutes, including 3-5 minutes for questions & answers


Technical aspects of computer presentation:

A conference laptop for the speakers’ presentations will be shared. The presenters are kindly asked to copy and check their presentations (e.g. how they are displayed, animations or videos) on the conference laptop before the first session of the presentation’s day or earlier. At the latest, it should be done during the break before the presenter’s session. However, late copying and checking should be avoided, to assure best quality of the presentation.
PowerPoint presentations (as e.g. .ppt, .pptx formats) are allowed. Having of an additional PDF version of the presentation is advisable.
Use of other presentation formats and use of e.g. videos should be consulted with the organizers.
– The presenters can consult and send their presentations or additional files to the organizers (at the conference e-mail) before the conference in order to check their compatibility with the conference laptop.

The use of personal laptop for the conference presentation is permitted. However, the presenter should inform the organizers in advance – at least one day before the presentation is recommended. HDMI, USB-C video outputs of the personal laptop should be compatible with the projector.

A handheld microphone and remote clicker are provided for the presenter.


Posters

Due to some technical restrictions A0 posters (of size 841 x 1189 mm x mm) in vertical orientation are allowed. Please contact the organizers, if you would like to have your presentation on a poster of a different size or orientation.

Magnets or plastic semi-adhesive mass (Blu tack) are provided for the poster presenters.

The organizer does not bear the cost of printing posters, the participant covers them from their own funds.
