Makhsud Saidaminov is a Canada Research Chair Tier II in Advanced Functional Materials and an Assistant Professor at the University of Victoria, Canada. Grown up in Tajikistan, he received his Ph.D. from Lomonosov Moscow State University. His research group focuses on the chemistry and physics of all-inorganic and hybrid organic−inorganic materials for applications in solar cells and optoelectronics. Makhsud authored 100+ papers and was named 2021 Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate Analytics.
