Pradip Xavier

Pradip Xavier invited speaker ATAM & MASCA 2024

Associate Professor in Reactive Fluid Mechanics Science, Associate Professor at CNRS-CORIA laboratory (Reactive Flows Dpt.), hosted by INSA Rouen Normandie (Energy Engineering Dpt.)

His research area focuses on the use of laser-based diagnostics applied to combustion processes retrieved in aeronautical gas turbines, including flame stabilization and dynamics, mixing with gaseous hydrogen, or pollutant formation routes. One specific aspect is related to near-wall combustion, with the development and implementation of surface phosphor thermometry and the study of wall thermal management, wall cooling technologies and near-wall pollutant emissions.
